Weekend Forecast : 0% Chance Of Accomplishment

Friday 27th –

Mike left for Belgium and I didn’t do much of anything.

Laundry, house tidying and then some drawing.
I’m not one of those fast, steady handed drawers so anything I want to create with some amount of precision takes a fair bit of time.

Resulting in a very sore neck 😜

Pro and I finally had a chance to FaceTime and we took full use of it… For three and a half hours πŸ˜‹
Alaina eventually told her she had been on the phone long enough 😏
I am officially out of the salt and vinegar chips Mom and Aunty Gail had so kindly supplied me with when they visited.
I am thoroughly missing them.
I’m missing mom and Aunty too 😏😜
So the salt/vinegar craving had to be filled somehow… thus resulting in popcorn for supper 🍿

Mike was spending the night in Belgium once his business there was over, since it was a friends bachelor party the next day.

Saturday 28th-
Saturday was a mix of sitting outside when the sun would peek through and drawing.

Mikes cousin was coming back with him that night so his ‘room’ (a bed in the kitchen) had to be readied and an easy breakfast decided on for the next morning.

Mom and I managed to FaceTime since the laptop was finding a bit of Internet even though our phones still weren’t πŸ™„

Some exercising and a quick 2km jog was accomplished and a salad eaten for supper😏

The salad may sound like it was an attempt at being healthy, but really it was just the easiest thing to have for supper since I wasn’t going to make a whole meal for myself 😝 The evening passed and I tried to fall sleep in the overly hot house…. It didn’t work very well, as I was still awake when the boys got back around 2 am.

To compensate for the healthy salad I finished off the macaroons Mike had got me πŸ˜‹

Hello humans 😊 This is where you learn about me I suppose, though anyone reading this right now most likely knows all the boring details ;) I am Jessica Rose Peters-Hagenouw. (Always thought I'd be able to pronounce my married name but hey, life doesn't go as we plan.) June 11, 1995, tis the day Robert and Bonnie Peters received the most adorable, amazing, wonderful, surprise 3rd child they could have dreamed of. Speaking of being the third child, I have an older brother and an older sister. Both of whom are married and have wee little families of their own, making 'Aunty Jess' another name I go by. I grew up and have lived all of my years up till November 2015 in Saskatchewan, Canada. Making summers that are extremely short and winters that never end, vast open spaces, northern lights, unthinkable amounts of mosquitoes, lakes, forests and people waving to you on the grid road all different things that mean = Home. But Home is not where I'll be for some time. My husband is a Dutchman, living in Europe. Therefore I too have been living in Europe for the last few months. The reason I started this little blog/journal/writing thing, is to document a bit of my "whole new world," for those at home who wont be awake at 3:00 am wanting to hear about how I couldn't find flour at the grocery store. Thanks for stopping by and taking a peek into my little life 😊

  1. Glad we rate up with there with the salt and vinegar chips. I may have been hurt if I didn’t understand your true love for them😘
0% might be a ‘little’ harsh on what you accomplished.
