Varkensvlees En Koude Koffie

Monday 6th –

The watercolours and pens/brushes were unwrapped and set up to try within a short amount of time after awaking.
The way they work is splendid! πŸ˜„

Blending the colors perfectly and having fine or wide tips depending on pressure, I will be using them much more in my future.
While trying to get an acceptable font down pat since pretty writing is NOT one of my qualities πŸ™„πŸ˜œ

The peonies from the nieces had survived the picking and heat and managed to liven back upπŸ˜‹

I then spent most the afternoon sitting outside enjoying the sun since I soon wouldn’t have the time or area to do so πŸ‘β˜€οΈ

Lemon and cream cheese salmon, oven roasted veggies, poppy-seed bread and a berry/spinach smoothie completed supper.

The poppy-seed bread was a delicious piece of the group birthday present I can’t believe I forgot to mention  πŸ˜‰πŸ‘ŒπŸ»

Tuesday 7th –

After I was done testing out my new products once more, I decided it was time to pack up all of my art/crafting supplies since they probably wouldn’t be used again anytime soon πŸ“¦πŸŽ¨

Minor sorting and cleaning was done throughout the rest of the day in attempt to get a small start on all that needed packing by Friday.  Once I was sick of doing that I needed to exercise and get supper going.

More freezer emptying resulted in green beans, fries (spell check just tried to put in ‘drugs’ instead of fries πŸ˜ we left those out) and pork tenderloin with bacon and an Italian dressing.
We also had some homemade iced coffee☺️

More packing after supper and then we resigned to the fact that we would just have to live in the disaster until Friday anyways so it was time to call it a night.

Hello humans 😊 This is where you learn about me I suppose, though anyone reading this right now most likely knows all the boring details ;) I am Jessica Rose Peters-Hagenouw. (Always thought I'd be able to pronounce my married name but hey, life doesn't go as we plan.) June 11, 1995, tis the day Robert and Bonnie Peters received the most adorable, amazing, wonderful, surprise 3rd child they could have dreamed of. Speaking of being the third child, I have an older brother and an older sister. Both of whom are married and have wee little families of their own, making 'Aunty Jess' another name I go by. I grew up and have lived all of my years up till November 2015 in Saskatchewan, Canada. Making summers that are extremely short and winters that never end, vast open spaces, northern lights, unthinkable amounts of mosquitoes, lakes, forests and people waving to you on the grid road all different things that mean = Home. But Home is not where I'll be for some time. My husband is a Dutchman, living in Europe. Therefore I too have been living in Europe for the last few months. The reason I started this little blog/journal/writing thing, is to document a bit of my "whole new world," for those at home who wont be awake at 3:00 am wanting to hear about how I couldn't find flour at the grocery store. Thanks for stopping by and taking a peek into my little life 😊
