The Hubsters Horseshoe And Accusations Of Gracefulness

Sunday July 24th –

Michiel had made it safely back to Holland early Sunday morning.
Only he would be lucky enough to have delayed flights that actually got him on better flights than the ones he was booked on πŸ˜πŸ™„βœˆοΈ
He was originally supposed to fly from Saskatoon to Minneapolis, Minneapolis to Paris, Paris to Amsterdam.
His delay allowed him to completely skip the Paris flight all together and get home minus an extra layover… Nice for him but still makes everyone else shake their head at his traveling luck 😜

With the our numbers now decreasing we were than able to ride to church together, Mom, Dad, Becca, Spencer and I.
After a good and thought provoking church service we met up with the Johnson family for lunch 😊

It was an enjoyed afternoon, spent visiting and eating.
Two of the best things to do when your with family and friends like family πŸ˜‰πŸ‘ŒπŸ»πŸ΄

It was already later in the day by the time we parted ways and went back to the house but I still felt like I required a small nap so…I quickly retreated to my place in the basement πŸ˜ŠπŸ˜‹

When I awoke, I spent some time working on posting writing and photos before we headed over to Nathin and Becca’s for a short visit.

While we were over there, Nathin and I played some badminton and Rebecca and Dad took some turns as well.

Mom got to be on Spencer duty.

Monday July 25th –

Mom came and woke me up so I could use her wifi to be in contact with Mike momentarily before she left for an unexpected day at work.

Once she left, the house was awfully quiet, so it was time to bring up my old CD player and listen to some ‘Adventures In Odyssey’ while I got to work cleaning the house πŸ˜‹

When you’re raised listening to them, they never grow old πŸ˜‰πŸ’ΏπŸ‘ŒπŸ»

I began cleaning and doing some laundry around 11:00 and didn’t stop until 4:00, but it felt good to be useful 😁
The upstairs took a fair bit of time and the basement took longer then it should have because I decided to sort through some clothing I had left here when I went to Holland.
I figured if I had done without them for 8 months, it was probably time to go through and get rid of more again 😁
During the process of cleaning I managed to stub my pinky toe three times, my foot began to get sore to walk on by the second… No one will ever have to accuse me of gracefulness😜

I sat down for a few minutes before mom got home and then it was time to help with supper preparing and clean up.

The rest of the evening was spent fairly leisurely with a few preparations for the next day’s adventuring, before retreating to the basement for ‘Murdoch time’. πŸ•΅πŸ»

Hello humans 😊 This is where you learn about me I suppose, though anyone reading this right now most likely knows all the boring details ;) I am Jessica Rose Peters-Hagenouw. (Always thought I'd be able to pronounce my married name but hey, life doesn't go as we plan.) June 11, 1995, tis the day Robert and Bonnie Peters received the most adorable, amazing, wonderful, surprise 3rd child they could have dreamed of. Speaking of being the third child, I have an older brother and an older sister. Both of whom are married and have wee little families of their own, making 'Aunty Jess' another name I go by. I grew up and have lived all of my years up till November 2015 in Saskatchewan, Canada. Making summers that are extremely short and winters that never end, vast open spaces, northern lights, unthinkable amounts of mosquitoes, lakes, forests and people waving to you on the grid road all different things that mean = Home. But Home is not where I'll be for some time. My husband is a Dutchman, living in Europe. Therefore I too have been living in Europe for the last few months. The reason I started this little blog/journal/writing thing, is to document a bit of my "whole new world," for those at home who wont be awake at 3:00 am wanting to hear about how I couldn't find flour at the grocery store. Thanks for stopping by and taking a peek into my little life 😊
