I’m Jess, And It’s been 19 Days Since My last Good Coffee ☕️

Monday Aug 29th –

To finish the kids kitchen I went.
Ah the wonders of a coat of paint and layer of wallpaper 😁👌🏻💙

I spent the early afternoon doing that and then I had a fair bit of writing and editing to work on.
I’m attempting to set up a place to put my odds and ends I create up for sale and learning a new website and details isn’t something I really enjoy spending time doing, luckily mother helped via internet and editing 😁
I don’t expect much out of it, when the handmade market is so large and never ending but it’s somewhere to put the creations so they don’t just sit totally pointless on the counter😋
Shop Jemstory Lifestyle ~
Inge made us supper and then Mike and I had a few finishing touches to add to the kitchen, with Johns help yet again 😉

Tuesday Aug 30th –

Michiel and I are in the process of purchasing an apartment 😁🏢
As known the banks and paperwork for the previous place we had looked at in Germany were never able to go through.
This apartment was looked at a few weeks ago and we decided pretty quickly that we felt like it was the right move and we should attempt to purchase it.
For now, it’s not yet OFFICIALLY ours but it is in the works and should be easier since we are dealing with a place that is in Holland.
Lord willing if all goes well, we will have ownership October 10th. 😁
But let’s not jinx things 😏

We had to go sign some papers for said apartment, Tuesday at noon in Arnhem.
I came along for company it would seem since everything was explained in Dutch and I didn’t need to sign anything 😏
On the plus side though, it was near a Starbucks and I would be able to have my first enjoyed coffee since getting back 😬👌🏻☕️
But we got distracted on our walk to Starbucks by a large Italian restaurant called ‘Happy Italy’.
It seemed intriguing so we glanced at the menus which had equally intriguing prices so we decided why not sit and see.

With low prices we were expecting some smaller portions but how wrong we were.
My pasta seemed untouched by the time I was done eating and the packed leftovers fed Inge and I later that evening and John too!
So much for small portions 😜

We continued on to Starbucks 😁

At the house I had an enjoyable nap, Mike worked and then we totally completed the kitchen, took photos and called it officially done👌🏻🛠

Mike had soccer and I had crocheting to do as he had brought me more yarn ☺️💙

Hello humans 😊 This is where you learn about me I suppose, though anyone reading this right now most likely knows all the boring details ;) I am Jessica Rose Peters-Hagenouw. (Always thought I'd be able to pronounce my married name but hey, life doesn't go as we plan.) June 11, 1995, tis the day Robert and Bonnie Peters received the most adorable, amazing, wonderful, surprise 3rd child they could have dreamed of. Speaking of being the third child, I have an older brother and an older sister. Both of whom are married and have wee little families of their own, making 'Aunty Jess' another name I go by. I grew up and have lived all of my years up till November 2015 in Saskatchewan, Canada. Making summers that are extremely short and winters that never end, vast open spaces, northern lights, unthinkable amounts of mosquitoes, lakes, forests and people waving to you on the grid road all different things that mean = Home. But Home is not where I'll be for some time. My husband is a Dutchman, living in Europe. Therefore I too have been living in Europe for the last few months. The reason I started this little blog/journal/writing thing, is to document a bit of my "whole new world," for those at home who wont be awake at 3:00 am wanting to hear about how I couldn't find flour at the grocery store. Thanks for stopping by and taking a peek into my little life 😊
