Brown Paper Packages Readied And Received

Monday Sept 19th –

Grilled sandwiches for lunch, accompanied by a fruit smoothie per Mikes request.

After lunch my hubby had some sweaters to go pick up for him and his friends brand, ‘We Nomads.’

Check them out!➡️  We Nomads

I got to be the one who helped take photos and write up info 😏
But I do really like the products and the colors and design of the limited fall collection were on point 😉

They were all sold and packaged to be sent away within a few hours!

Supper was on me and it was taco salad, which I’m thankfully now able to make again since Dorothy brought me the salad dressing it requires.

I thought about giving the instructions for taco salad, but anyone here in Europe probably won’t be able to get the Kraft, Catalina dressing and to me that’s kind of the main part of that salad 😋

Not much else was done on Monday, not by me anyways.

Mike made he and I some tasty, whipped cream topped hot chocolate that evening, which seemed fitting considering the weathers slight cooling off the last couple days.

Tuesday Sept 20th –

Breakfast and coffee in bed yet again ❤️☕️🍴

In my defence, he was working from home so he did have some time to prepare It 😉

Another morning brightener? Mail!! 😄💕💌

My dear sister and niece sent me a package, including some home ground coffee, iron man Lego and some funny and thoughtful notes 😊
It was much appreciated 😁👌🏻

Mike and I went to the store and he spotted some pretzels which made his eyes light up, remembering the chocolate covered pretzels Josh and Pro introduced to him when we were in AZ. 😏

Back at the house it was my task to add the dipped in chocolate part, though he did dip most of the second tray😁

Inge made us a tasty supper of pasta topped with peanut sauté sauce.
Not something I’d normally eat or think to make but something that was enjoyed for sure😊

Hello humans 😊 This is where you learn about me I suppose, though anyone reading this right now most likely knows all the boring details ;) I am Jessica Rose Peters-Hagenouw. (Always thought I'd be able to pronounce my married name but hey, life doesn't go as we plan.) June 11, 1995, tis the day Robert and Bonnie Peters received the most adorable, amazing, wonderful, surprise 3rd child they could have dreamed of. Speaking of being the third child, I have an older brother and an older sister. Both of whom are married and have wee little families of their own, making 'Aunty Jess' another name I go by. I grew up and have lived all of my years up till November 2015 in Saskatchewan, Canada. Making summers that are extremely short and winters that never end, vast open spaces, northern lights, unthinkable amounts of mosquitoes, lakes, forests and people waving to you on the grid road all different things that mean = Home. But Home is not where I'll be for some time. My husband is a Dutchman, living in Europe. Therefore I too have been living in Europe for the last few months. The reason I started this little blog/journal/writing thing, is to document a bit of my "whole new world," for those at home who wont be awake at 3:00 am wanting to hear about how I couldn't find flour at the grocery store. Thanks for stopping by and taking a peek into my little life 😊
