Sunday Nov 27th –
There was a misunderstanding π¬
I double checked with Mike about what time we left for church and he misunderstood what I said and I was tired annnnnd bla bla, the alarm got set for the time we should have left, not only been waking up.
So we were a little late for church π¬
But hey, we made it π
Afterwords I was dropped at the house and Mike went out quickly to grab a few forgotten items for lunch cause Judith, Christian and the kids were coming over since they had yet to see the house since Pauline had been awaiting birth prior till now π
Taco salad was chosen for simplicity’s sake and Judith was inspired to buy the ingredients for it later that same day so it would seem they enjoyed it as much as we do π
Amongst the visiting, some freshly baked cookies and coffee were had as well as some baby cuddles.
Judith asked me if Pauline felt more like one of my nieces since I was here for her being born and she wasn’t already older by the time I met her, I said yes that for sure made her feel more like mine, along with the fact that it also feels like she knows English ππ
I got to get even more acquainted with her when the others all went for a quick walk to the grocery store later that day… thankfully she slept π
We visited into the evening, pomelo and later hot chocolate joining us until it was time for them to head home.
It was a nice day π
Monday Nov 28th –
I awoke with a text from the hubster saying to look in the back of the fridge for a surprise.
I don’t know if I’ve gotten out of bed that quickly for no actual reason before π
But it wasn’t for no reason since this was hidden for me πβοΈ
And it couldn’t have come on a better morning.
The water was off?!
It didn’t stay off for long but long enough I wouldn’t have gotten a morning coffee made in time to save the morning π¬
I did a fair bit of painting/drawing throughout the morning and afternoon and enjoyed every minute of it.
Besides that it was the average daily stuff, blog, clean, laundry, meal prep of pineapple chicken, carrots, garlic bread and couscous π
Those three little words… π
