Morning Musings For Moving Forward

Hello humans, I hope you are all having a pleasant weekend! 😊

(Not my coffee cup but mothers, no matter how badly I wish it was mineπŸ™„πŸ’”)

So, I’ve been mulling over what to do about the content of my blog, even before we arrived in Canada.

I believe our lives were a tad more interesting to read about while we lived in Europe, what with the travel and all that😏

Now, as we settle into living with Mom and Dad on a temporary basis, not traveling every weekend nor trying some new exotic food, I fear it may become dull to read about if I continue my every day detailing.

(Not that some of my days dwindling away in the apartment weren’t boring but you get what I mean πŸ˜‰)

So my conundrum is this.
Do I continue day-to-day writing but less detailed?
Do I simply post recipes, the odd craft and Jem Moments?

Does anybody care?!! πŸ˜‚

But really πŸ˜³πŸ˜‹

I haven’t come to a solid conclusion yet but chances are the daily posts will be slowing down a bit and there may be some unorganized, scattered and random postings until I decide on a concrete plan to move ahead with.

Is there something you would like to know about me/moving/travel/Canada/Europe?

A certain recipe you’d like shared or even tested for you?

An art or a craft you’d be interested in seeing?

Anything!

Please, feel free to comment and let me know if you have any magnificent ideas for the blogs path going forward πŸ˜πŸ’•

It would be greatly appreciated πŸ˜‰πŸ’Ž

Hello humans 😊 This is where you learn about me I suppose, though anyone reading this right now most likely knows all the boring details ;) I am Jessica Rose Peters-Hagenouw. (Always thought I'd be able to pronounce my married name but hey, life doesn't go as we plan.) June 11, 1995, tis the day Robert and Bonnie Peters received the most adorable, amazing, wonderful, surprise 3rd child they could have dreamed of. Speaking of being the third child, I have an older brother and an older sister. Both of whom are married and have wee little families of their own, making 'Aunty Jess' another name I go by. I grew up and have lived all of my years up till November 2015 in Saskatchewan, Canada. Making summers that are extremely short and winters that never end, vast open spaces, northern lights, unthinkable amounts of mosquitoes, lakes, forests and people waving to you on the grid road all different things that mean = Home. But Home is not where I'll be for some time. My husband is a Dutchman, living in Europe. Therefore I too have been living in Europe for the last few months. The reason I started this little blog/journal/writing thing, is to document a bit of my "whole new world," for those at home who wont be awake at 3:00 am wanting to hear about how I couldn't find flour at the grocery store. Thanks for stopping by and taking a peek into my little life 😊

  1. You know how I feel about reading your blog! πŸ˜‰ But maybe you could write a blog about the biggest differences you know experience between living in Holland/Canada, you’re the expert now πŸ˜‰ or do a blog tutoring us about handlettering (don’t say you’re not good enough to do that!)?

    1. That is a subject I’ve considered (Holland/Canada) but it seems like a big one, though I’m pretty sure I’ll be attempting it… good to know at least one persons interested πŸ˜‰
As for the lettering, that may come a bit later but thanks so much for the suggestions and comment πŸ˜πŸ’•
