Sunday July 9th –
Dad and Mom were back from the lake and that meant that Sunday breakfast was back too 😎
A different preacher then usual was speaking that morning and it was enjoyed.
Making me contemplate my testimony, what the Lord has done for me and how good He has been, yet how much do I actually say or show that to others?
What light do we shine to others?
What hope do we bring?
If He’s been so good to us, how do we try show Him our gratitude, no matter how insignificant it may seem, and apply that do our daily lives, interactions and decisions ?

After church we had a couple of things to do in town before heading home to eat leftover stir fry and take naps 😋👌🏻
After waking and brewing some coffee to enjoy with the fresh stroopwafels Michiel had brought back from Toronto, it was photo shoot time.
I love the look of ‘flat lays’ but rarely do I have what I’d consider unique enough items or more accurately…time and patience.
Which are also considered unique items when it comes to me 😜
But I had time and I had things that I wanted photographed AND I had the Hubster’s good phone for better pictures 😎
He helped me lay out my chosen trinkets and then it was a matter of choosing one picture and creating the post and content to go along with it ☺️
Which filled much of my evening, in a way I enjoy ☺️☕️💻📸
Monday July 10th –
Mother made us egg sandwiches for breakfast and whether it was the tomatoes or the seasonings used in the avocado or what we don’t exactly know, but they didn’t much beat my previously made matcha chia pudding breakfast attempt in deliciousness rating 😂
Maybe we should give up on breakfasts for a bit😜
A walk was decided upon and we had to go to the house anyways to talk with Mike about some design questions he had concerning beams and wood and so on and so forth 😏
We then went for our 6 km walk/jog.
It was a thick, humid heat outside… dark skies and bright yellow canola fields filling our view and telling of oncoming rain 🌦🌾
Plantain fried with a little wee bit of coconut oil, agave syrup and cinnamon, eaten atop a dollop of yoghurt and granola made up our post walk snack.
I finally made a juice, not having had the right fruit for sometime and it was a good one.
Blueberries lending a great taste and color 💜
Supper was sautéed steak with a slightly spicy, noodle and veggie mix 😊
