Thursday Sept 21st –
Get up.
Drink coffee, eat a stroopwafel.
Feel bad about not getting back into a healthy eating schedule… but do nothing about it.
Blog.
Art.
Mix up some cement pieces for an order.
Do things on the ‘if you feel like it’ list that Mom left me, with tasks such as ‘clean out the fridges freezer’.
While cleaning out the freezer, I came across some blueberry perogies that looked like they should be eaten.
Then found out they were actually raspberry perogies but that was okay too ππ
Other list items included ‘pick the ripe tomatoes and transplant plants’.
Afterwords, I convinced myself that since I was slightly a mess from completing the garden stuff, I should work out and make the upcoming shower truly a NEED, not just a ‘probably should’ π
Then it was time to start making supper for the hubster and I, as well as the sister-in-law and her littles βΊοΈ
I couldn’t wait to try making the German meatball dish again.
This time with the ACTUAL seasoning mix I needed since the other sister-in-law had brought us some in Az ππ»
(Those chunks of mozza get melted into sticky, cheesy goodness, on top of the creamy tomato sauce and Italian seasoned meatballs)
It turned out wonderfully and since the seasoning packs for the sauce are relatively small, I think I know what future mail requests will be ππ
We caught up with the small part of our Canada fam. during the meal, coffee and cookies ππ
Friday Sept 22nd –
I had a house to clean and Mike had cookies to sell, so into town we went π
Once I was done and Michiel picked me up, he said he had a surprise for me and then pulled out two pomelos!
One of my most favourite fruits, which I hadn’t eaten since we moved!
(Moved…moved as in, BACK to Canada. FROM Europe. Because we did live in Europe. Yeah I’m married, actually lived in Europe annnnd now moved back to my homeland and we own a house.
Obviously I knew all of the above things and was aware of the circumstances and what not, but don’t you ever have weird moments of realization about your life and where its at?! ππ»)
Anyways, he bought me pomelo and I was excited to be able to enjoy one once again π
We grabbed a pizza to eat and then headed to our place to…shovel sawdust.
Yes you read that correctly π
Turns out, our upstairs walls are insulated with sawdust, so when Mike cut the appropriateΒ rectangle holes out for our dressers to fit in, allllll the sawdust filling from those sections, pooled into the room.
Had I known they were raspberry ones I may have eaten them π
Missed out on meatballs π
Some of those said plants that needed transplanting were yours πIt was your reminder π

Haha, and I would have left them for you π
I have more packs of the mix so they can be made again… if it hadn’t turned out, I didn’t want you’s to not experience the real deal, a second time π
Thanks for reminders π
