The Model Married Couple *heavy sarcasm πŸ˜

Monday Sept 25th –

After making us some lunch, Mike and I both headed over to the house.

He had spent his morning there but it was time I joined in 😏

The bathroom is shaping into the most complete area of the house 😁

DIY vanity and countertop installed and sealed? Check.

Mirror that was already in the house, cleaned and re-hung? Check

Window sill scrubbed of grime and shower too? Check 😎

It’s coming together and I’m really happy with it and having to stop myself from going out, shopping for towels, hooks and decor and stay focused on all else that needs completion πŸ˜‰

Together we assembled a dresser to fit into our bedroom wall.

We will have one on each side of the bed.

Since our ceilings upstairs are slanted, we had tons of free space past our bedroom walls, to build IN.

This saving much actual room space and making the dressers look pretty spiffy tooπŸ˜πŸ‘ŒπŸ»

Mike deep-fried us some chicken fingers and fries for an ultra healthy, heavy on the dipping sauce, kind of meal, which we watched from the sofa while catching up on what ‘Victoria’ had been up to πŸ˜œπŸ™ˆπŸ‘ŒπŸ»

(Movie series about, Queen Victoria😏 πŸ’πŸ»)

Tuesday Sept 26th –

The husband had another interview in the city that morning, so as my morning went along, my thoughts were on that.

Praying that God would have His way and that we would be good with that way, whatever it was. Even if we are running rather low on funds, the closer to completion the house gets 😜

We have seen time and time again, that the more we relax in knowing God has everything in His control and our lives are planned out perfectly by Him, the more things seem to readily fall into place, in greater ways than we would have thought possible at the time.

Fast forward to that evening’s conversation together, the interview seemed to go well, so we shall see πŸ˜‰

I worked on a cement order among other things during the time he was gone.

The bible lettering I’ve been doing has been… interesting 😏😜

I have found that I’ll think on the verse days later, as writing them done does help press them into mind but then, while looking on the work of others during the challenge, I almost laugh, at myself 😜

Others will letter out the ENTIRE verse, no matter how long and then there’s Jess… trying to find the least amount of eye-catching/meaningful words to letter, because my patience level is so far down on the scale, it’s ridiculous 😝

Yes, working on a bible verse isn’t a bad way to spend time but really, I am too embarrassed to actually admit HOW much time I’ve been spending on them the last week(s) πŸ˜¬πŸ™ˆ

Once the husband returned, we went for a leisurely walk to the forest, enjoying the lovely fall colors and weather and catching up on each other’s

days.

Very romantic/model married couple/movie scene ish of us πŸ˜‰πŸ˜œ

Hello humans 😊 This is where you learn about me I suppose, though anyone reading this right now most likely knows all the boring details ;) I am Jessica Rose Peters-Hagenouw. (Always thought I'd be able to pronounce my married name but hey, life doesn't go as we plan.) June 11, 1995, tis the day Robert and Bonnie Peters received the most adorable, amazing, wonderful, surprise 3rd child they could have dreamed of. Speaking of being the third child, I have an older brother and an older sister. Both of whom are married and have wee little families of their own, making 'Aunty Jess' another name I go by. I grew up and have lived all of my years up till November 2015 in Saskatchewan, Canada. Making summers that are extremely short and winters that never end, vast open spaces, northern lights, unthinkable amounts of mosquitoes, lakes, forests and people waving to you on the grid road all different things that mean = Home. But Home is not where I'll be for some time. My husband is a Dutchman, living in Europe. Therefore I too have been living in Europe for the last few months. The reason I started this little blog/journal/writing thing, is to document a bit of my "whole new world," for those at home who wont be awake at 3:00 am wanting to hear about how I couldn't find flour at the grocery store. Thanks for stopping by and taking a peek into my little life 😊
