Sunday Dec 10th –
First Sunday preparations from in our own home and Iβm pleased to say a little talk at the parents the night before, inspired Mike to re-step up to the plate of Sunday morning breakfast making πππ»π³
Something he had done for a month or two at the beginning of our marriage until he just…didnβt π
But his breakfast was good, the sunrise pretty from our kitchen window and the taxi service prompt π
Mother and father were giving us a ride π
Are we with them too much post move?? I think not, ββtis only kind to break them of us easilyπ
Church that morning was about respect.
Do we treat others as we should? Whether we agree with someone or not, do we keep our attitude and response respectful?
If you have respect from someone, you will do what they say or take their advise willingly, the same goes for serving God.
Circumstances may not go as we hoped or thought they should, but we can still believe it was, or will be, for our best and go forward respecting the outcome.
Knowing that if God requires something from us, He will equip us for it.
1 Peter 2:17-19
17Β Show proper respect to everyone, love the family of believers, fear God, honor the emperor.
18Β Slaves, in reverent fear of God submit yourselves to your masters, not only to those who are good and considerate, but also to those who are harsh. 19Β For it is commendable if someone bears up under the pain of unjust suffering because they are conscious of God.
We rode back to our place with some friends, having them over to eat pizza, visit and get Β a tour of the house in its finished state, as they had been the first to see it pre reno’s ππ π
It was a pleasant afternoon, friends, pizza, pie, kittens, coffee … whats not to like?

Monday Dec 11th-
Bills, cleaning, cupboard organization, list writing.
The usual βnew home ownerβ tendencies I believe, are what passed my day along π
Though we had ‘moved in’ Thursday night, we had been away from the house so much and there had been no official fanfare of any kind, so it kind of felt like the new week was our ‘new start’ as well.
Mike ended up going out for an evening hunt with the bro, though all they seen was a mouse, so it wasnβt inspiring Mike to go try it out againπ
When he returned, we had gnocchi, chicken and pasta with a sauce we still had from Italy, for our first official dinner at the house.
Sipping some lemon Italian soda which had been gifted to us for just such an occasion as the first dinner

We still havenβt got a dinnerware set of any kind, so plates from our wedding shower have been much appreciated π
The creamy colored he cat finally got a name on Monday and I believe that is the longest I have left a thing unnamed.
We call him, Tripp.
Tripp, I like it!π Is there a story behind the name? π

Not really, just sticking with the travel theme a little, ‘Tripp, Atlas’ π plus he’s a character so it felt like he needed a name that wasn’t too serious… maybe I take the naming of pets too intensely ;p
