Happy Celebrations And Holidays!

So, I know this seems a little early for any ‘winter holiday’ talk (I hesitated greatly when I went to type out the ‘winter’ bit, as I’m in agony over its nearness) but, with our home reno and a few trips planned, I wanted to make sure and give you all as much notice as possible for this.

First off, thank you so much to those of you who have supported my cement creationsπŸ’•

Some pieces staged in their new homes πŸ˜„

Secondly, these pieces do require time to make and cure and as I said, I will be away.

So, if you want a cute, custom, handmade, unique gift, now (or soonish) is the time to take action and order!πŸ˜„

Whether it’s a birthday, house-warming, new baby, Christmas, anniversary etc. these pieces fit the bill in my humble opinion πŸ˜‰

Now, on top of the old list of availabilities, there are a couple little newcomers!

Air plants!

I have a limited quantity of these guys, so get yours fast! Continue reading “Happy Celebrations And Holidays!”

Pura VidaΒ

So I have a little something for you all, in honour of having grown to 500 followers on Instagram and for there being a number of you following along on the blog as well (though really, all of you should be πŸ˜‰).

A code for 20% off your Pura Vida  orders

Now, unbeknown to me, I had actually seen some of these bracelets during our honey moon in Costa Rica.

Over a year later I can across Pura Vida and their products via Instagram and was curious about the company because I love bracelets and because their name was a term I seen on a lot of things while we were in Costa Rica, meaning ‘pure life’.

Turns out, it’s a company that hires Costa Rican locals, to make bracelets and then they sell them all over the world, all while helping support families.

I got my first bracelet from them a couple of months ago and I love it 😁 Continue reading “Pura VidaΒ “

Handmade Home Decor

For the last months I’ve been playing around with these little cement creations.
(Which I think are adorable πŸ˜¬πŸ™ˆπŸ˜)

My time being spent figuring out consistency, container errors and what works and what REALLY does not 😜

As I only have like… five-ish forms to use to create in right now and drying time is at least a day and a half, you could say the production rate has been a tad slow πŸ˜œπŸ™ˆ

But finally I have enough to show you’s and to offer you the chance to purchase some for yourself or someone else as a truly, one of a kind piece of modern/industrial decor 😊

Unfortunately shipping isn’t available at this time as mailing rates are ridiculous enough when mailing paper, much less concrete items😬

Due to that, it would be local pick up/delivery in the Prince Albert, Weldon and Saskatoon areas as my schedule allows.

It is an option to have a custom color but the shapes/sizes are the only ones available at this time.

Each piece is made by hand and coated with an all-purpose sealer.

Leave me a comment or direct message me on Instagram if you’re interested in purchasing any or have any questions😊

Also, a thank you to the people who came out and purchased some during the Birch Hills garage sale on Saturday!
Your support was greatly appreciated πŸ˜πŸ’•

Wooden Decor Blocks

Looking for small, cute, shabby chic decorations or gifts?

I have just the thing for you πŸ˜‰

Sticking with the distressed/antique look of the wood pieces I used, I did the font in an overly distressed manner.

Since it’s repurposed wood, the ‘blemishes’, ‘smudges’ and ‘discolorations’ are all a part of the look and charm, making each one a totally unique piece πŸ˜‰πŸ‘ŒπŸ»

Local pick up in Prince Albert area is available.
I can look into shipping if anyone further away has an interest 😊

Leave me a comment saying SOLD and the coordinating block number and I’ll send you an email so we can arrange delivery 😊

Cost per block: $5.00

Block #1: but first…pray & Blessed.

Block #2: Dream & adore

Block #3:Forever & ever & ever

Custom Watercolor/Lettering Art Available

So, I’ve held back from posting this but due to constant harassment from Michiel I shall put it here for you’s to decide 😏

I have many pieces of art done but not so much wall space or desire to hang my own creations and a few of you have asked if some of said art pieces are for sale.

Now they are 😊

Most my daily sketches are done on low quality paper scraps, so they are available at lower cost but thus not boasting of impressive quality or standard sizes.

Customs are available on a higher quality paper and sizes would be more standard then.

If you’re interested in either option, leave a comment and I’ll get in touch with you! 😊

International Friends Day

(Title creds go to Mike πŸ˜‰

Thursday Dec 1st –

Watercolor flowers suddenly seem like the best thing to add to every inspirational quote/verse and though they are pretty and I’m liking doing them a lot, I’m not sure what I’ll be able to turn to for some variety now 😬

I completed a few mini’s that morning too and was loving it πŸ’•πŸŒΈπŸŒΏπŸ’Œ

Brownie needed baking in preparation for having people over the next day as well as a good house cleaning etc. 😊
Fresh brownies and fresh house, what better feeling? πŸ˜‹

Mike had went into town and he returned with Oliebollen for us… 13 to be exact 😏😜

Greasy, heavy, donut like sweets, dipped in icing sugar.
Mike says we will be fat soon πŸ˜”

They are just like what I’m used to having under the name of New Years cookies… though I never liked them because of the raisins (Mike got me some raisinless ones).
