Not Just A Dime A Dozen

Monday Dec 18th –

Monday was a big day for not just me but also for my sister (in law) and mother.

My sister and I had decided we wanted a little touch up lesson on bread/cinnamon bun making from the best person we knew to give such a thing.
The Mom ๐Ÿ˜

So by 9:00 that morning, three woman were in the kitchen, two Bosch mixers going, four types of dough being created and two children needing attention between.

I decided I donโ€™t ever want to work in a bakery๐Ÿ˜œ
Not that I think bakeries include wee humans but the noise of the mixers and the search for the correct ingredients and tools between other people, though perfectly fine for one morning, is not a thing Iโ€™d be ok with every day๐Ÿ˜‰
Fresh bread everyday would be lovely though. Continue reading “Not Just A Dime A Dozen”

Concocting In Chaos

Thursday Dec 14th –

Mom was over to complete her wifi work, so between coffees and chats I worked around the house.
Finding more things to unpack, sort and rearranging to mull over ๐Ÿ˜œ

I hauled a dresser in from the garage and washed it up to take up into the craft room, so I could start organizing in there finally.
Deciding that since I love my living room so much, the craft room will probably be more of a storage/guest area for starts ๐Ÿ˜‰

Hubster had cookie business to take care of post work, so he was home late.
My sister had been a dear and sent over a pre-prepared meal to make this ‘move in’ thing easier.
Pull apart buffalo cheese bread, pre chopped veggies, fries portioned for two and even cookies for dessert ๐Ÿ˜ณ๐Ÿ‘Œ๐Ÿป

So that worked out perfectly as I didnโ€™t want the hassle of making a big meal that late in the evening and it was all super tasty and very appreciated ย ๐Ÿ™‚

Friday Dec 15th –

Itโ€™s odd but endearing in a way, Atlas, our little she cat, likes to carry things.
Her toy ball, odd play things, the spoon out of my coffee…? ๐Ÿ™ˆ Continue reading “Concocting In Chaos”

Sincerely And Satisfactorily

Saturday Dec 2nd –

Sick of hearing about pies yet? ๐Ÿ˜
Well… plug your eyes and read no more ๐Ÿ˜Ž

Apple pie… the one I really was not looking forward to making at all, as I wouldnโ€™t enjoy the โ€˜fruitsโ€™ of my labour ๐Ÿ˜œ

Still it had to be done and I knew Michiel and Dad would appreciate it so that helped… kind of๐Ÿ˜

Mom made pizzas for us all for lunch and then Mike and I retreated to the house. Continue reading “Sincerely And Satisfactorily”
