The Love Smorgasbord

Happy Valentineโ€™s Day โ˜บ๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿ’Œ

Mike and I are the worst gift keepers ever… if we have a gift or know of a gift someone else has for us, we donโ€™t wait well ๐Ÿ˜œ

So in true โ€˜usโ€™ fashion, we gave each other our gifts early ๐Ÿ˜‰

Mike got me a sweet little charm for my Pandora bracelet.

Me. You. Forever.
With a little heart on the back and a bit of sparkle โ˜บ๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿ‘Œ๐Ÿป

I got a shirt made for him with a custom design, listing all the places weโ€™ve traveled together and I plan to get a matching one once I find a shirt๐Ÿ˜œ

We were both pleased and the heavy burden of keeping wrapped gifts, lifted ๐Ÿ˜‚

In honour of love day…I am sharing a littleย smorgasbord of things that Iโ€™ve been loving of late ๐Ÿ˜

A Pain In The Neck And Clouds In The Sky

Friday June 9th –

I awoke and carried out my usual morning routine.
Going upstairs to sit and drink some coffee while fully waking up.
I woke up too late for the first pot of coffee so after sitting coffee-less for a few minutes and deciding that just wouldn’t do, I stood up, stretched and… could suddenly no longer move my neck without immense, pinching, burning pain shooting through to the base of my skull???

Coffee was forgotten… which in itself tells the severity of the matter.

I stiffly stood where I was and told Mother about the pain I was feeling while I attempted and brutally failed, to turn my neck past centre left.
I could only turn right and even the littlest bit of tightening my neck muscles caused almost tear inducing pain.
And I don’t cry easily.
I don’t mean that crassly or boastfully, it’s just how I roll ๐Ÿ˜œ

Good ol’google told me it was a pinched nerve and a ‘nurse to be’ friend gave me prescription advice of Advil etc. and a heated wheat bag ๐Ÿ˜‹

Laying hurt, as I had to tense my neck to rise and fall, so I sat.
I’d had plans to accomplish things but the neck thing was prohibiting and I suddenly had much sympathy for those who suffer much worse injuries.

Mom made coffee and I sipped it cautiously, trying to relax all muscles and becoming aware of how tricky that was to do ๐Ÿ˜œ

Eating leftover turtle cheesecake for breakfast helped though ๐Ÿ˜‰๐Ÿฐ

The sister and her ‘smart little dumb things’ (a wonderful term she came up with ๐Ÿ˜‹) were flying back to their home that afternoon, so it was a morning of last minute packing and preparing. Continue reading “A Pain In The Neck And Clouds In The Sky”

Custom Watercolor/Lettering Art Available

So, I’ve held back from posting this but due to constant harassment from Michiel I shall put it here for you’s to decide ๐Ÿ˜

I have many pieces of art done but not so much wall space or desire to hang my own creations and a few of you have asked if some of said art pieces are for sale.

Now they are ๐Ÿ˜Š

Most my daily sketches are done on low quality paper scraps, so they are available at lower cost but thus not boasting of impressive quality or standard sizes.

Customs are available on a higher quality paper and sizes would be more standard then.

If you’re interested in either option, leave a comment and I’ll get in touch with you! ๐Ÿ˜Š
