Simple Saskatchewan Summertime

Sunday July 9th –

Dad and Mom were back from the lake and that meant that Sunday breakfast was back too 😎

A different preacher then usual was speaking that morning and it was enjoyed.

Making me contemplate my testimony, what the Lord has done for me and how good He has been, yet how much do I actually say or show that to others?

What light do we shine to others?
What hope do we bring?
If He’s been so good to us, how do we try show Him our gratitude, no matter how insignificant it may seem, and apply that do our daily lives, interactions and decisions ?

One Sketch A Day β€’ A Visual Journal

I was gifted this awesome looking (if somewhat daunting) journal and pencil from my lovely friend Carmen πŸ˜ŠπŸ’•

Being back home in Sask. has given me the opportunity to check out some places it has to offer that I never even realized it had, until AFTER I moved away (of course 😏)

Soul Paper being one of such said places!
The journal came from there, as well as the Palomino Blackwing pencil and the awesome pencil sharpener of the same brand πŸ‘ŒπŸ»

Mom has been letting me use her micron marker/pens and those have been a newly acquired pleasantry as well πŸ˜‰

This picture captures how a drawing session will go, journal and tools in hand, coffee by my side, phone to search for inspiration if I can’t think of any on my own from the items surrounding meπŸ˜‹

If you go to the same image on my Instagram page, I will have ‘Soul Paper’ tagged so you can also go and check them out, it would be worth it!
