Focus on the Family

Wednesday Aug 16th –

Michiel and I headed into town.

He was literally about to drop me off to clean and then he could about his business, when the house I was scheduled to clean, canceled 🙄

I managed to swap it out with another job and still got to go work but it did mess up the day, plans becoming slightly, unplanned 😬

We ordered pizza to take home for a late lunch/early supper, went for a nap and then over to work on getting the last of the sub floor put down in our house.

”Twas then a lazy evening on the couch, new plans made for the next day.

Thursday July 27th –

My day began by making salad.

Not my usual morning task, I know 😜

We were headed to the sisters house for lunch but I wanted to try out a quinoa salad I’d seen online, so I got at it and then also made juice to utilize some of the abundant fruit that was taking up the counter space 😏

Chopping, mixing and clean up, took most of the morning and then a blog was posted and over to the sisters I went to join the others ☺️

We all enjoyed the salad and I would happily make it again!
The chicken fingers beside were a good touch😉👌🏻

After visiting there for a while, I headed to our place in town to try cleaning out the bathroom, even just a little, so that it was a mini step nearer to being prepared for paint time 👩🏻‍🎨 Continue reading “A Mornings Peculiarities”
