The Last Of The Tropic Vibes

Wednesday Nov 22nd –

Weโ€™d planned the night before, to get ready as soon as possible the next morning and go spend the day at Hapuna beach.

We ate almond poppy seed muffins from Costco for breakfast.
My pretty much all time favourite muffin, which Canada Costcoโ€™s do not carry??!๐Ÿ™„๐Ÿ™„๐Ÿ™„

We made it to โ€˜ourโ€™ spot on the beach and settled right into shell hunting… interesting how quickly people claim things as their own no? ๐Ÿ˜

Mike got into the shelling too, his long arms proving useful in emptying out the sandy holes created by the springs merging into the ocean๐Ÿ˜‰

We did that for a while, getting enough good shells to keep on hunting through the treasure-less stretches, until the next treasure was claimed by someone, encouraging the rest of us to search through one more handful and so on and so forth ๐Ÿ˜‰

The smallest sheller of us all, had to watch that she didnโ€™t fall INTO some of the larger sandy holes but she was copying and showing all her magnificent โ€˜findsโ€™ for awhile too, having no chance at growing up to NOT care about the oceans loot ๐Ÿ˜‹

We sun bathed, tried and failed at staying sand-less, walked along the expanse of beach and just gloried in the last official beach day together ๐Ÿ’•โ˜€๏ธ๐ŸŒŠ Continue reading “The Last Of The Tropic Vibes”

Mike went down and brought back some breakfast for us and then we packed up and headed out. Continue reading “Saturdays Are For Souvenirs”
