I was searching for a recipe for stuffed, pork tenderloin but every one I considered making included ingredients I did not have on hand.
So it was time to invent a recipe of my own.
Cream Cheese Stuffed Pork Tenderloin
Serves 2 (but that’s based on Mike and my appetites sooo it could be more like a three person serving size😜)
What You’ll Need:
1 pork tenderloin
3/4 package cream cheese
1/2 pack of bacon
1 tsp. basil
1 tbsp. pesto
pepper and paprika
1 tbsp. approx. Worcestershire sauce
1 tbsp. olive oil
Directions:
As this recipe was made up, I didn’t measure anything while I worked and I just used the rest of the cream cheese I had in the fridge, hence the odd ish amount required 😏
I wouldn’t advise any more than 3/4 of a regular size package of cream cheese though, as the amount I used was just bordering on too strong.
Pre-heat the oven to 350 F.
Cut the bacon into small chunks and fry until its cooked to your preferred bacon tenderness – wiggly, tender, fried or crisp? 😏
Combine cream cheese, basil, pesto and cooked bacon.
Slice the tenderloin open lengthwise and spread the cream cheese mixture evenly.
Close tenderloin and place in the dish you want to cook it in.
Pour the oil over the tenderloin, adding the Worcestershire sauce as well.
Season with pepper and paprika.
I would omit adding salt as the bacon and Worcestershire sauce gave it enough saltines for my liking… and I like salt 😁
Cook for 50-60 min. depending on tenderloin size.
Rice, lemon cucumbers and garlic bread are the sides I made to go with it 😊
Hope you enjoy, we did!
Let me know how it turns out!😀
Looks like something you could make for us when we visit 😀

It just so happened the day this was posted I had a pork tenderloin waiting in my fridge for supper with no inspiration…poof wish granted! (And I had most of the ingredients) A yummy new recipe to test. So I followed the instructions as well as girl who doesn’t measure can and I also added a clove of fresh garlic to the cream cheese. First off the smells wafting from the oven were very hopeful and then as we bit into the first bites the taste measured up as well. Very moist and delicious….def added into my mental recipe book.
P.s. Even Josh liked it and he really isn’t into pork
